About Us
British Growers Association is a mutual
society registered with the FSA under the Industrial and
Provident Societies Act 1965. This means it is owned by
the industry it serves- individual members, pea groups
and crop associations. It exists for the benefit of its
members; it has no external shareholders and pays no
dividends.
It has been based in Louth, Lincolnshire, since its formation
in 1969 as The Processed Vegetable rowers Association Ltd. In
October 2011, we moved to our new purpose-built office in
Nottingham Road, Louth. The name was changed to British Growers
Association in December 2011.
British Growers Association is governed by a Board of Directors and has a permanent staff of eleven.
